COVID Mitigation at the Summit

The University of Alaska welcomes guests from many countries, states, and communities across Alaska.

To protect your health and safety, all guests will be encouraged to take a free rapid test upon arrival to the summit.

Our safety measures will promote the best possible networking and engagement value at the Summit.

Additional Considerations

  • We strongly encourage that you test for COVID-19 prior to departure from your point of origin and upon arrival in Fairbanks

  • Proof of vaccination is not required of guests

  • Limit exposure when traveling by wearing a mask

  • If you are symptomatic, please do not attend this event

  • If you are considered "high risk" for contracting COVID-19, we recommend careful consideration for participation. The University of Alaska cannot assume liability or risk in regards to contracting COVID-19 at the Summit. Attendance is at guest discretion.

Should rising case levels become a concern, the University of Alaska reserves the right to require masking of guests inside the venue at all times, except when eating, drinking and presenting. Guests will receive notice of mitigation changes and additional information should this occur. View mitigation updates by visiting the venue’s COVID-19 mitigation dashboard.
